Not every property needs an officer on site around the clock. Mobile patrol services put a uniformed officer and a marked patrol vehicle on your property on a scheduled or random basis, which is often the most cost-effective way to cover nights, weekends, vacant buildings, and properties spread across a city. Patrol units can also respond to alarms, disturbances, and suspicious activity.
What a patrol visit includes
SecureOne's management works with you to build patrol and inspection procedures for your property. Depending on the site, an officer may check doors and gates, inspect the interior and exterior, lock and unlock buildings, enforce parking rules, check equipment, escort first-in and last-out employees, perform welfare checks, and respond to alarms. Officers follow a property-specific checklist on every visit, and security reporting can be sent daily by email. More detail is on our patrol services page on secureone.com.
Technology that leaves a record
Patrol vehicles carry GPS Insight tracking and 360-degree in-car cameras, so you know where the patrol went and what it saw. WinTeam keeps scheduling and dispatch consistent and checks that an officer has the right training before being sent to your site. Every scan, photo, and note goes into Vision InSites in real time. Together, SecureOne's patrol officers have driven more than 8.9 million miles.
Who uses patrols
Patrols are a natural fit for HOAs and residential communities, office parks, warehouses and distribution centers after hours, and construction sites between shifts. Many clients combine an on-site unarmed officer during business hours with patrols overnight, or add a camera trailer to watch the property between visits.
